Now that I am calm enough to write something intelligible, let’s get this started. This is about my Four Kamis and their sebantsu rankings. I will also include a small discussion regarding them of about 4500 words. Not much, right? But while logic dictates that I should begin things off with my Goddess, I am going to follow all our enemies’ way of doing things by ignoring logic and start off with Mayuyu, the new Queen Watanabe Mayu.
Just like Yukirin, Mayuyu was just fighting fate by aiming for No.1. Even when scientific data showed hope for her this year, almost all cowered in the face of reality. That reality being Sashiko. Sashiko and the gap she not only had on Mayuyu during last year but also this year’s preliminaries. Not to mention the reality of the Sashiko revolution this past year with the success of HKT apparently all because of her and that TV and media exposure. Like, I dare any one to count the number of videos with Sashihara Rino in the title on H!O this past year alone! Even if Mayuyu managed to catch up with Sashiko’s votes from last year, Sashiko would have surely picked up new fans.
The bottom line is that things weren’t looking good at all for Mayuyu. The only thing that drove hope was the sheer amount of Mayuyu fan power and their and the whole AKB48 as a whole crying out for revenge and justice. Not only was Mayuyu under such pressure as the new Face of AKB48 but her fate wasn’t looking to be on her side. Sashiko was even referenced in pokemon terms as the master where as everyone else including Mayuyu were the pokemon. I am not kidding.
Were they right? If they were then I guess that means Mayuyu is Pikachu because she was like – Fuck you Ash, I ain’t gonna get trapped in your fuckin pokeball! And thus Mayuyu did what was seemingly the impossible.
She took on Heaven, Earth and Hell and won! I personally know of only a few who were truly behind Mayuyu and Yukirin, sweet, sweet Yukirin, was one of them. She actually lost fans because of that. One of them was that guy in the NicoNico programme who looked like an important sports player . He apparently changed from being a Yukirin fan to a DD because of Yukirin’s royalty towards Mayuyu. That is, when Yukirin made her wish for Mayuyu to be No.1 this year. When I see that kind of reaction, which is actually quite often, I always find myself questioning exactly how much these fans love or better yet, know Yukirin, truly.
I mean one would think that by now Yukirin’s feelings towards Mayuyu, or how much Mayuyu means to, would be the worst kept secret. Apparently not. I would understand if it were any other members/rivals like say, WMatsui or SayaMilky. I mean, can you imagine Rena or Milky giving up their moment for their rivals? HA! Mayuki’s relationship is unique. No other two members have been or will ever be like them. And this is mostly due to Yukirin herself. Any other member and it would not work. So to see and hear not only non-fans but fans themselves wanting Yukirin to stop, and thus probably not knowingly, asking her to change makes my heart bleed.
If we really want her to be No.1 we can just vote for her. This excuse of waiting for her to say it herself that she wants to be at the top is really silly. We know her dreams. Without implicitly saying it herself she already made it known that being at the top is also a part of the whole picture. First of all being an Eien Idol for example. If she made a legend as being one of the Centres of AKB48, then she would be remembered for a long time.
Not good enough? Then how about when she said that she wants to be someone important to AKB48? Unless Yukirin is the Ace of AKB48, with all eyes on her and everyone knowing that this is Kashiwagi Dynasty, if she helped AKB48 to accomplish a new record for the books when she is the Ace, it wouldn’t mean as much as when she is not at the top. She has already made her feelings of wanting to be at the top known, still is trying to without spelling words out like wanting to see a different view but does her heart cries reach her fans? Sadly, it seems only to a selected few.
So, I think we as fans are actually the ones letting down Yukirin by failing to really understand her. Be it her relationship with Mayuyu, or her apparent lack of motivation to take 1st place. Yukirin is very unique. Take all the top members and compare them to Yukirin. Watch their performances, their interactions with the members and their fans. Study their behaviour when it comes to times like Sousenkyou and how they treat their fellow members then. Yukirin will always stand out. She would never step on another just to get what she wants. Her voice will never overshadow others’ voices even though we all know her singing abilities. She will always seek for balance rather than to dominate, be it pushing herself to the limits in the case of NMB48 dances or turning it down, in the case of her voice playing the support role when she isn’t going solo.
Yukirin is simply too good to play that kind of role which is why I doubt that she will ever straight out say she wants to be No.1. So what if it doesn’t make her a leader. What if that is the wrong mindset for the world she’s in! So what? I fell for Yukirin precisely because she is that kind of person. I would never dream of a Yukirin who is just like every other member. A Yukirin that would be so ambitious for the top that she would sacrifice her relationship to the other members, especially Mayuyu. It all just seems so wrong. God, I hope no fans actually tell her to forget about Mayuyu and just aim for centre. It would all be so sad. And the thing is, if fans are willing to leave her because of that, I can’t help thinking that someone has indeed mentioned it to her at handshakes.
Let’s make Yukirin 1st, and in the process make sure that she’s super happy about it. Would we fans really be happy if she took No.1 but in the process lost a bit of herself? Would we be happy knowing that her relationship with Mayuyu has been damaged and reduced to mere rivalry like all the other top girls of the sister groups! I can’t speak for you but I know that I darn well wouldn’t! I want a Mayuki top ranking, in preferably Yukirin/Mayuyu order but Mayuki none the less. I don’t want a Yukirin and Mayuyu ranking. We got that in AtsuYuko and we can get it with all the sister groups and their top Aces. We need something never done before. We have that in Mayuki, why should we destroy it? Why should Yukirin change for us? She should not. If a fan thinks that it was time she did, then it is time for them to change. Be it their Oshi or whatever, it’s them that should change not Yukirin.
With Mayuyu, you have an option of whether to take a Yukirin discount or not. It’s not up to her. She has a forced responsibility. But it is exactly that reason that to get Yukirin, you have to sign up for a lifetime Mayuyu contract. It’s Yukirin’s responsibility to keep their relationship the way it is. It’s her that’s keeping it from lowering to a simple rivalry kind of relationship or even worse. She carries Mayuyu and keeps her on the right path. It is all so easy to shatter their relationship if it weren’t for the fact that it’s Mayuki. They moved Mayuyu to Team A to ‘improve’ by creating a growth rivalry between her and Yukirin. Look where that got them. Only less than three months back to B and Yukirin, Mayuyu takes the throne. Is it too farfetched to think that they actually stalled Mayuyu’s growth by separating Mayuki in the first place? Maybe, maybe not.
And I also noticed something. When Jurina was called at No.4, did anyone get the vibe that Yukirin looked a bit negatively affected? It was like she was hoping to be done there but then she wasn’t. She continued to hold the praying position as if begging God to let her be called next! The look on her face when she was looked more to me that of pure relief at stopping at 3 than happiness at climbing back up to 3. I shudder to think of what it would have been like if She ranked higher than Mayuyu. Nope. Not even going there! But we dodged that bullets just like many others shot our way. Really, the amount of care Yukirin holds for Mayuyu is quite something. Like, did you see that reaction she had when Sashiko was called for 2!! She was standing up all ready to jump ship and hug Mayuyu to death! Forget everything else LOL! And Mayuyu’s super shocked reaction. You could totally see the struggle that was going through her whole body to try and stay calm, like the Cyborg Idol that she is.
Being a great B fans and having began to like Sashiko again, I felt bad for her and actually almost cried seeing her trying hold back the tears (and failing). But this needed to happen! AKB48 members are already losing a huge amount of spots to Sisters as is, losing the single itself, an AKB48 single to another Sister group members a second time in a row would simply not have done! Mayuyu taking 1st also turned out to be more dramatic than Sashiko making history would have.I am sure you all heard and felt the reactions from the fans when Mayuyu was crowned! This just had to happen. the implications of the reverse would not have been as light as some seem to think!
Congratulations Mayuyu. Congratulations Team B (Now that makes the third AKB48 centre originate from the 3rd AKB48 team!) and also congratulations are in order for the whole AKB48 group as a whole for fighting for their single and winning! The moment when the Mayuyu call began before she got officially called, when Mayuyu broke down, I expected Yukirin to appear and give her a hug! Seriously! I guess this is what Yukirin stood up at that time, huh? And Souchan’s tears, OMG! Everyone was really awaiting this moment. This year Mayuyu really had to take the crown. I don’t want to think of the weight of that burden that was weighing on her shoulders! No wonder she finally cracked and let herself be seen for the first time in a venue like this! She has to feel so light right about now that she could fly! And for the love of God, never ever forget –
Only Mayuyu makes Yukirin cry in public! Oh how happy these two must feel right about now! We really need a special where they will let them talk about this! I want to know what Mayuyu thinks of Yukirin always putting her ahead! I want to know more about why Yukirin does it! I want to know their happiness about the situation!
No, there is no transition from Mayuyu to Yukirin because MAYUKI! I shan’t be the one to break them up. When Yukirin ranked 3rd, yet seemingly not truly satisfied, even though she was truly happy to have taken back 3rd. She first took a photo with her trophy, but instead of holding three fingers up to indicate her position, she put up two. No, it was not supposed to be a peace sign or victory. She said it herself that she made a mistake. Then, she followed this up with saying that she wants to see a different view. Of course some were already jumping to conclusions, going so far as even saying that she looked jealous when Mayuyu took 1st.
To me, all I saw was Yukirin only wishing to be close to Mayuyu. Coincidence that being 2nd would have meant just that and the same time a different view to Yukirin, including her wish of Mayuyu taking the top spot? I think not. But do we blame ourselves for not working hard enough to make Yukirin happier by putting her in 2nd? No! Instead we are trying to tie the blame on to her, our Oshi, giving excuses like she won’t say she wants to be No.1 so we aren’t feeling motivated. Like, did she say that she wanted to be fourth last year? No! Did she say that she wanted to be 3rd in 2011? No! So why the hell does she have to beg for 1st? Since when did our Oshi turn into the beggars? Because it seems to me that this is what some wish from her. To beg us to make her 1st.
I think I’m gonna be sick.
Yukirin is the member who has had to put up with a lot of stuff that she doesn’t deserve. There really is no need to add to the list. She and we fans have been through a lot all these years, why start giving up now when Yukirin most needs us? Our love for her should be unquestionable by now. No one has done what she has in the time she has been in AKB48. Let me give you all who have forgotten and those who don’t know, a quick crash course.
Yukirin probably doesn’t know it herself either but she has already made history. Let us start from the very beginning. All new fans are probably unaware but the original Team B had the highest wall to be crossed in the history of AKB48. At the time things were very harsh. There was no quick medicine or resolution like shuffling popular members to get Team B to be recognized. Cindy was brought in more as a connection string to attach the new team to the AKB thread. It wasn’t about being boring then but more about pride. Team A and K were like blood sisters and B an adopted sister. But the wall was broken down. Team B started making history at Request Hour when for the first time, a Stage song not only made it to top 3 but No.1. They continued to wow and at the same time paved way for others, like Team 4.
Yukirin and Mayuyu shined at the top of those Team B’s. But, Mayuyu had been already selected by default as the Centre and actually Kikuchi was the number 2 then, also by default. So how did Yukirin get into the picture?
First of all, it was her dance skills that got her first recognition by, and forgive me while I have a good laugh here, by management. To be more precise, her skill of learning off dance choreograph, got her selected out of all the 3rd gen members to be Yuko’s sub in the first ever tour. This achievement earned her later a spot in Baby Baby Baby single alongside the mentioned members. Yukirin began to make a name for herself among 3rd gens.
Next came her singing skills. These earned her a nice part in the B stages a one of the leading vocals but that wouldn’t have been enough to put her at the front. In combination of her voice and dance skills, was she able to stand next to Mayuyu as an intended rival. Funny though that now it also looks like that was the first ever sighting of the now famous Double Centre formula. Add that to the list of Yukirin’s legends, I shall. But was our Queen done? Hell no!
Enter the birth of the Kami Taiyou legend.
At the end of 2010 and beginning of 2011, Yukirin strikes again, but at a different angle this time – The Handshake Event. She made a great deal of fans when word spread about her legendary ways in which she connected with fans and by the results during the 2011 Sousenkyou proved those rumors true . Everyone will remember that time Yukirin made what at the time seemed impossible, possible by breaking the Kami 7 walls so hard she not only got in but stood at No.3. That was right next to Acchan and Yuko. She was the first to show the power of handshake events to members and also the first to show anything is possible when she sailed past Five Kamis who seemed untouchable at the time.
Even today Yukirin is still making a name for herself with the way her work outside of AKB48 has proven more successful than any other member let alone active ones.
With that grande an existence, her treatment by management is what pisses us off Yukirinians, in case anyone was wondering what the big deal was when there are other members not being pampered by management.
Yukirin is different, that’s why!
Other members get frustrated just because they did not get that rank they wanted. Can you imagine how they would handle being in Yukirin’s place? Even Acchan almost lost it when she was beaten by Yuko that one time and yet have anyone one of you ever seen Yukirin lose herself? Never! She is always smiling. Always positive. No wonder AkiP always nods her way in special ways from time to time. He too can’t help but be wowed even if he too is like most Yukirin fans who want her to be selfish and grab the chance by taking the offensive. But Yukirin will never do that. That’s is not her. If even AkiP’s words didn’t change her, nothing will.
And I am forever glad for it!
But sadly this has the opposite effects towards management who seem to think that if she doesn’t care (doesn’t react to the conditions set out in front of her) then they will never stop walking all over her. Well, it says a lot when all this negative treatment hasn’t affected her after all this time. This makes Yukirin even more special a person to me.
I will never love any other Idol like I love Yukirin. The gap between her and Rena for example, who is my No.2 is so large that even Heaven and hell are closer in comparison. A person like her has to have something just as great awaiting her in the future to balance out everything, if the laws of the Universe do truly exist. I will follow Yukirin until that day comes. The day when she is equally rewarded. But for now, I will suffer with her. I will not abandon her, let alone for her good heart (Like, what even?!).
This is why I was so happy watching her during Sousenkyou at the relief and happiness she radiated at not finally being defeated by fate (all the predictions were against her, as usual) and re-claimed No.3.
Speaking of predictions, Oh don’t worry, I had enough time to rage yesterday and I am so over that now. My eyes have been re-opened to the true love I hold for Yukirin. I have been tested to the limits and I have come out a victor! So from now on, nothing will ever make me question Yukirin and her choices ever again. I swear this. Which is why I can now talk about all those predictions. We have all see them. We have seen the official guide books. We know who the favorites were (Or more like who were being promoted to be at the top). And as usual, Yukirin was not one of them.
Now sure you all will have fallen for the blindfold tied over your eyes, especially during that NicoNico programme with the so called two Yukirin Oshis with one being an acquaintance of Yukirin’s father actually. The first 3o or so minutes were so very deceptive. Everyone was going on about how powerful and surprising Yukirin really is. In fact they even ranked her in some of their personal rankings. Seems all good, doesn’t it? Well guess what, towards the end, all come together to compile the actual, more realistic ranking prediction. They are LIVE so they ask the viewers who would be in each rank going from first to 16. We get to 3rd. it is as obvious as day that Yukirin’s name overshadowed Jurina’s. But do they rank her there? No, they decide to go for Jurina. I let it slide. I mean after that, Yukirin has to obviously be 4th, right?
Apparently not. For some reason they ignore logic and decide that it would be best for the top four to be from different groups. The place Sayanee ahead of her. They rank Yukirin 5th. I am not going to bore you with how I felt at the time. Whatever happened to all that Yukirin sweet talking in the first couple of minutes of the show and all the apparent love for her to rank her, personally, in 1st and or 2nd positions? Suddenly she is irrelevant. Suddenly logic doesn’t apply. Suddenly the viewers’ choice doesn’t matter. And they were the ones saying that Sasshi’s success in HKT was because she listened to fans and gave them what they wanted…And don’t get me started on those magazine and Newspaper prediction rankings!
Just like Mayuyu, Yukirin was the only other member fighting against fate and the world. Can you believe how the two would have felt if Mayuyu not only failed to avenge AKB48, the group she is now Ace of as well as Yukirin being beat by Jurina?! But no, the defeated the very hard odds. The fans felt it too, especially in Mayuyu’s case. Not even Acchan taking back her crown from Yuko garnered this much fan reaction towards that success! If Mayuyu received that much of a reaction, just imagine Yukirin winning! I want to feel that. I want to be there when it happens. Which is why I have decided that next year is the year. Next year I am emptying my Account for Yukirin. I hope that all fellow Yukirinians feel the same way. We know longer need to feel guilty by making Yukirin uncomfortable for taking the crown before Mayuyu, who she was supporting. She supported Mayuyu this year. She made her wish known. It was granted. Now it is her turn and I think Mayuyu knows it too. She wants Yukirin to experience happiness for herself too and Mayuyu to experience her friend’s happiness.
Let us do our best for Yukirin next year dear fellow Yukirinians!
By the way, did you guys notice when Yukirin was walking up to the Mic that she looked up at the ranked members and waved to someone? I wonder who! And that speech, really I am never ever regretting having her as my No.1. Even there, she was still so Yukirin. She had her attention pointed towards the fans. Did you see that one moment when a certain fan shouted something and Yukirin didn’t hesitate thanking them? So Yukirin. Then saying that senbatsu is more than just ranks but a special time where the fans and the members get together to fight the same battle. Really, forget Kami Taiyou! Yukirin is above such a low title!
I love her.
Apologies. I know most of you came here for Senbatsu results talk so let me get to the other Oshis. Next up is of course Matsui Rena. A girl that stole my heart because of the slight resemblance to Yukirin but also her unique differences. Thankfully, Rena’s situation isn’t as volatile as Yukirin. One can’t mention SKE48 without mentioning Rena. It’s just impossible. There will always be WMatsui, when it comes to SKE48 but in a whole different way that Mayuki. Mayuki are not AKB48 but their existence goes hand in hand. They have an effect on one another that is very much different from all other sister groups’ top two. WMatsui are pure rivals 100%. They will always trail each other in rivalry just like AtsuYuko. In fact just like AtsuYuko, Rena beat Jurina once but now it’s up to Rena to catch up.
Jurina and Rena’s fans will forever be fighting to get their Matsui to be on the top of the other 1st then next getting that No.1. Which is why as a Rena Oshi, my only complaint with her rank this year is that she did not beat Jurina. But Jurina was being pushed this year not to beat Rena but to take 1st place. That fact proved too hard for us fans but we managed to keep Rena right on Jurina’s trail despite that. Unlike Milky who was so affected by the same formula being applied to Sayanee. Just like Rena, Milky was not Sayanee’s problem this time. The two favs were aiming for the top. Rena’s fans fought strong and hard not be left out in the dust, not so much for Milky. Granted, Namba fans are very different from SKE fans. A sacrifice had to be made. Gamble and take Sayanee to the top, or compromise and have the two in senbatsu. Looks like they gambled, and lost. Well, somewhat.
But the blame falls on all these stupid predictions that probably played a role in giving a false hope. After all, if all think Sayanee will beat the likes of Yukirin, surely she has a chance, right? Hoping against all hope that they learned their lesson when it comes to Yukirin. But after three times of this, I doubt they will start now. So, I am about 80% happy that Rena was only a position away from Yukirin but 20% unhappy that she was once again beat by Jurina.
Ooh, by the way, I noticed the smile Yukirin had on when Rena was called! I know it means nothing! it was only chance that they cut to Yukirin then but the happiness that action brought me is immense! The things my Oshis do to me I tell ya!
Next up is the WTF moment girl of the 2014 Senbatsu Elections – HKT48’s Snowpiercer Miyawaki Sakura. If you were LIVE in chats when things were going down yesterday morning, you know very well what I am talking about. That guy during the NicoNico discussion said it best, even though he apparently did not believe. He mentioned something about fans saying that during prelims, KashiwagiMiyawaki fans are always still half-asleep. He was right! Despite evidence proving this from previous experiences, all still though other HKT48 members apart from Sasshi would rank ahead of Sakura just because she was in the 20s for prelims and Yukirin would fall in rank just because she was 4th. Last year Sakura was in the 60s I think during prelims? Look where she ended up at the end of it all. And yet not many believed in her.
Sakura is another special case in and of her own. She has no equal rival! If it weren’t for Sasshi, Sakura-tan’s domination would have so comical, extreme action would have been needed even in the case that it wasn’t Sashiko. She just has no rival, so far. But the way things are going, she is making one in Sashiko as she herself said so in her speech. And it is not un-thinkable. Sakura’s power is the most dangerous to date! Meru/Mio or NakoMiku are HKT’s answer to SKE48’s WMatsui and NMB’s SayaMilky. Haruppi and everyone else for that matter just doesn’t have anything on Sakura. But apparently there was a huge possibility that Haruppi would beat Sakura judging from the number of predictions that had her ahead of Sakura.
Yeah, don’t ask me. I have no idea what they were smoking and I don’t want any of it.
The chats were going crazy with every passing member called since the top Undergirls and it wasn’t Miyawaki Sakura. It got to the point (during Senbatsu this time) where speculations of her not even raking started to grow. I kid you not. But the prospect of her ranking that high, even in Top 10 or higher in Kami 7, was growing the wildest! I was so high in happiness at the time that I completely forgot myself. This got me banned in two places. Once because of Sakura-tan and the other because of Yukirin! I can assure you that I wasn’t this worked up even during 2011 senbatsu! That was more because of shock than anything though. I spent a day thinking that I was only dreaming. Not enough time to have a good reaction. But with the experience, this time my body was ready, it seems.
Stare at that number and imagine it belonging to Miyawaki Sakura. Well, you don’t have to because it does belong to Sakura. And let me make something clear. Sashiko has very little to do with Sakura’s fearsome power. If you remember, Sashiko was still in AKB48 when the now unstoppable Sakura Express first hit the scene. In fact if she has anything to do with anything, it is the fact that fans are fighting to have Sakura be the true HKT48 No.1 like it was meant to be, before Sashiko was transferred to HKT48. This is why I love my Kamis so very much. They are all fighting very rigorous battles and without the help of management, and in Yukirin’s case, her actual enemy.
And don’t get me started on the fact that Sakura and Yukirin are from the same home town, find themselves walking the same path, and their similarities not ending there. Nothing could be better. Actually, the two not having the exact opposite relationship to what they should be having would be much preferred but for some reason, this drives me even giddier. I am waiting for that moment when they just give up and embrace their connection that is more obvious than day light itself.
Yeah, having three of my 4 Kamis in Senbatsu makes me the happiest camper of this Election.
As I said, three of 4, which means there is one more. And to no one’s surprise I am talking, of course, about one Ogasawara Mayu. If there is one mystery I shall never solve is Ogasawara Mayu! Let me first mention something to you dear Readers. Some of you probably did not even realize it but if we were only up to Future Girls, Maachun would not have ranked! Ogasawara Mayu, would not have ranked at all this year!
Can someone please explain that logic to me please? All N fans out there have watched at least a couple of stages, right? You have seen Maachun perform, right? You have heard the audience’s reaction to her MCs, right? When it comes to performance, be it singing or dancing Maachun is in the same league as Sayanee, if it were a sport for example. Sayanee stands out exactly because of that – she stands out. Her voice sails and over-shadows the others’. She expresses her emotions to the limits during performances. A lot of people, if not all, see this as great talent that she has. But to me that is a very no, no in my book. You all see how it has affected the whole group, right? Even the members have reached at the point where they are getting frustrated at everybody thinking only of SayaMilky when NMB48 is mentioned.
SayaMilky are not that much better than all the other members in NMB48. We have seen their singles, right? We have seen their stages! We have seen them work hard to be the most flawless performers as a whole and this might be partly due to Sayanee’s leadership but it is all useless if she doesn’t play for the team but rather pull everyone along and in the process loom over them, overshadow them. And management isn’t helping at all when all they do is promote and keep promoting SayaMilky, like they need any more promoting!
Things had improved a bit when they added Nana to the trio but along the way, she was kind of forgotten. Now it is a one man wagon with Sayanee rising by herself. Everyone had a feeling about Mirurun. They just grabbed the already obvious opportunity but they are approaching things all wrong. Where was Nagisa? WTF did they complicate things farther by decimating NMB at such a crucial moment?
Transferring Maachun to AKB48, permanently…
Even as Maachun was my NMB48 Oshi, I still do not even know the feelings I have for the transfer. What was the point? What has she gained so far from the transfer? All we see is actually loss not benefit so far. After all that work she and Ripopo did with the Riichan 24Hr TV last year, getting a lot of members known that wouldn’t have been otherwise (I experience this myself, even though I considered myself an NMB48 fan!). All that work would have seen Maachun at least getting rewarded from NMB48 fans, just like Ripopo was. But they had to go and take away from NMB48. That was a very bad move. Even though Maachun was not showered by voting love, she was very loved by NMB fans. She had the NMB48 soul. But they went and totally shattered that with her transfer.
We all saw the effects!
Strange thing is that my confusion at that decision, made me react very little to her ranking, if I even care. Why did they do it?! I haven’t seen Maachun in a B stage more than 3 or 4 times since April! She is not being utilized in AKB48 shows. Why was she transferred? Why?!
And finally, yes, I was incredibly happy when Yukirin looked so both happy and proud of Sakura-tan when they cut to her during her message towards her Grandma. I bet you that back in Kagoshima, they are partying hard! They probably partied through the weekend too. I know I would. This is just such a joyous occasion. With the way things are looking with Sakura, can you imagine next year when she ranks right next to Yukirin!! The Kagoshima revolution is upon us people! Mark my words!
But again as you can see, my 4th and last Kami is also unique in her own way. Whereas my other three’s fans obviously show their love for their Oshi, Mayuyu is different. We know she is loved. We hear it during concerts, we feel it ourselves as we watch her so we know it isn’t fake. And yet, this love never transfers to the virtual world of votes. It stays in the real world in the present. This uniqueness that no other member has, is the reason that I love Ogasawara Mayu so much. The reason that changed from Sayanee in the beginning to Maachun.
Also she has something in common with Yukirin, her strong heart. Just imagine the pain she must have felt! Not only was she transferred from NMB48, Maachun really loved NMB48, but she was dealt an even deeper blow by falling so low in rank! Any sane person would be asking themselves why the keep working so hard?! Bitter feelings would be pretty hard to bury. But Maachun persevered! That strength, how could I not love her! She even still pulled a Mayuyu joke even in that situation. Seriously, Maachun! Seeing Sayanee rejoice for her despite her low rank was also really moving! Anyone else would have looked disappointed but not her. My Sayacchu feels are still string it seems, despite the distance.
Darn it all management!
Not to forget to mention Riichan 24Hr TV. Riichan 24hr TV still is to me, the best thing to have been done by any members and Chupopo really deserved to be rewarded for that. While Maachun did not, I am happy that Ripopo improved. I hope the fans finally feel something after this ranking.
To conclude, all my Oshi are facing all kinds of hardships. It is not easy being me, let me tell you. But I also think that I am lucky to be the only one in this kind of situation.
I love you Yukirin. I love you Rena. I love you Sakura. I love you, Maachun!
Please be strong! We will always follow you!
Thank you for the hope you instil in me.

And congratulations to all the members that ranked this year, especially Mayuyu for finally taking No.1 and Tanamin for finally, for the first time in 8 years, ranking. Was really shocked when Ririka and Sayaya didn’t rank though. Especially Sayaya. I really thought she would be the one! But if even NakoMiku did not rank ( I mean, come on!) I can kind of understand the Draftees not making it. Still, Sayaya! Oh well, they are still new and this is not the end. Their time will come!
Good night to you all the have read all that and thank you. I also wish to apologise to any and all dear Readers that may have felt offended by anything I mentioned in this post. It is not my intention. You have my permission to write anything you feel like about Yukirin. It is your opinions after all and your love for your Oshi.
See ya around ^^
